Professional Biography
Dorian K. Flowers, MPA, CFO, EFO is an executive fire service leader with more than 31 years of progressive emergency services experience and more than eleven years serving as a municipal Fire Chief.
His leadership background includes strategic planning, organizational development, public administration, emergency management, community risk reduction, personnel development, deployment analysis, and intergovernmental collaboration.
He currently serves as Fire Chief for the City of Greer, South Carolina. Previous leadership roles include Fire Chief for the City of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Fire Captain – Administration with New Hanover County Fire Rescue.
Dorian has also served as an adjunct Fire Science instructor and is interested in supporting postsecondary programs in Fire Administration, Emergency Management, Public Administration, and Organizational Leadership.
